Pregnancy, birth, and the early months of motherhood are quite literally transformative - you build and birth an entire human being, while also becoming someone new in the process yourself! It’s an extraordinary journey, and while so much of this will be joyful, it’s completely okay (and normal) if it also feels overwhelming at times.
As your birth and postnatal doula, I’ll be with you every step of the way on your pregnancy, birth and postpartum journey. I provide gentle, grounding and personalised support to help you navigate all the twists and turns, firmly rooted in ensuring you have the information and confidence to make the right choices for you.

I strongly believe that everyone woman and birthing person deserves to feel informed and empowered during their birth and postnatal period, and that financial barriers can serve to further embed inequities. I can provide reduced rates for those who need them, so please don’t let finances prevent you from reaching out to see how I can support you.

What can I provide as your doula?

Helping you understand and articulate your thoughts and feelings around what you want your birth to be, and helping you take practical steps to get there.

Birth really is a marathon not a sprint! As a qualified hypnobirthing instructor as well as a qualified doula, I will help you understand how to work with your body through the stages of labour, and feel empowered and in control.

Through my professional career I have a wealth of experience talking to and supporting women and birthing people in pregnancy after loss. I understand deeply how different this experience can be, and will gently help to guide you through the range of emotions you may be feeling.

All pregnancies and postpartum experiences are different, be it your first baby or your 5th! I’ll be there in whatever way you need - holding space for all the emotions, big and small. I’ll walk this journey with you.

Supporting you to feed your baby in which ever way you want, signposting to services and information that may help you achieve your feeding goals. I’ll also help you get to know your newest addition, providing gentle guidance as you get to grips with newborn care.

Postpartum is tough, and we were never meant to do it alone. I provide evening and night support to help you focus on rest, recovery and bonding in the early weeks of parenthood.
